I’m a lifelong Lowcountry local, born and raised right next door in Hanahan. After graduating from The Citadel in 1995 and serving in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard, I earned my plumbing license in 1997. There’s nothing I love more than helping my North Charleston neighbors solve their plumbing headaches—and when I'm off the clock, you'll usually find me relaxing outdoors in our local woods and waters.

The Story Behind the Name
You might assume "Swell Guy" just means a friendly plumber—and while I aim to be one, the name actually has a deeper story. In 2023, I was diagnosed with spondyloarthritis, an auto-immune condition causing severe joint swelling (hence the pufferfish in our logo). Doctors thought I might have to hang up my wrench for good. But thanks to modern medicine and a drive to keep moving, I’m right back doing the work I’ve loved for nearly three decades.
